Birthday Book Club

Celebrate your child’s birthday by purchasing/donating a book for our library!

Please visit our “Amazon Wish List” (see link or scan QR code below) to make your purchase or to see what books that we would like to add to our collection. Books must be hardcover or “library binding” to add to our collection, and can be purchased from any book retailer. They do not need to be purchased from Amazon; the list is just for reference.

Your child will receive the following when his/her birthday arrives:

1. A bookplate honoring your child will be placed in the front of the book for all Mata students to see and appreciate.
2. Your child will receive a birthday pencil and book mark when their book is presented.*
3. Thompson will visit the classroom to read with all the students in the class and to thank your child personally.
4. Your child will be the first student to check out the book, and when the book is returned, it will be placed in circulation for all to enjoy.*

If you would like to participate, please fill out this printable form and return with your book in a zipper bag. Books can be turned in to your child's teacher or the office. Thank you.

¡Celebre el cumpleaños de su niño comprando un libro para nuestra biblioteca!

Visiten nuestra Lista de Deseos en Amazon.com (codigo QR) para comprar un libro o para tomar ideas de los libros que nos quisiera tener en nuestra colección de la biblioteca. Los libros deben ser de tapa dura, por favor. Los libros se pueden comprar en cualquier librería o en Amazon.

Su hijo recibirá lo siguiente cuando llegue su cumpleaños:

1. Una dedicación al comienzo del libro para que otros niños puedan ver y apreciar..
2. Su hijo recibirá un lápiz de cumpleaños y una marca de libro durante su mes de cumpleaños.*
3. Sra. Thompson visitará el aula para leer con todos los estudiantes de la clase y para agradecer personalmente a su hijo.
4. Su hijo será el primer estudiante que echa un revisa al libro. Una vez que el libro sea devuelto, otros niños podrán sacar el libro para leerlo.*
